Warning: Email and WhatsApp messages purporting to be from 'Richard Gray' misusing the name and SRA number of a genuine solicitor

An email has been sent misusing the name and SRA number of Richard Gray (see details below) as well as WhatsApp messages in relation to the recovery of lost funds.
What is the scam?
The SRA has seen an email purporting to be from 'Richard Gray', misusing the name and SRA number of a genuine solicitor (see details below).
The email was sent from 'richardgray@justice-and-rights.net' and the email signature misuses the name and SRA number of a genuine solicitor (see details below). The email provides the following telephone numbers: '+42(073)082-44-66', '+41 (779) 591-34-3', '+44 (742) 491-90-90'. Also provided within the email is the email address 'info@justice-and-rights.net', the WhatsApp number '+44 7346 586696' and the address '71-75 Uxbridge Road, London, England, W5 5SL'. There is also provided a link to the website 'justce-and-rights.net' and the signature has a logo for 'Justice & Rights'.
The WhatsApp messages were sent from '+44 7346 586696' advising the recipient to contact an individual based in the 'Coinbase Investigation Department' for assistance with 'Coinbase chargeback'.
The SRA does not authorise or regulate any firm with the name 'Justice & Rights'.
Any business or transaction through the email, telephone numbers, email addresses, website and address mentioned above is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA also authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called Richard Gray (SRA ID 33765).
The SRA does not believe that the genuine Richard Gray (SRA ID 33765) has any connection to the website mentioned in the above alert.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
