Warning: Calls and Emails from 'Adam Bell' and 'Adam Hall' misusing the name and details of Legalvision Law UK Ltd

Emails and telephone calls have been sent and/or made falsely claiming to be from the genuine firm Legalvision Law UK Ltd and/or its employee.
What is the scam?
The SRA has been notified that between 12 December 2025 and 27 January 2026 several emails have been sent to members of the public and/or organisations purporting to be from LegalVision Law UK Ltd ('the Firm'); in relation to issuing legal proceedings and related pre-action correspondence including Letters of Authority to act for a client. The emails have misused the genuine Firm's logo, branding and web address.
The emails have been sent from the email address 'adam@legalvisionplc.com'. The email signature also uses the following telephone numbers as points of contact: '01616716233' and '08002096171'; and the genuine website of the Firm 'https://legalvision.co.uk'.
The SRA has also been informed that the genuine Firm received a call from an individual, purporting to be an employee at the Firm, requesting that all calls about their clients should be directed to them for a response.
Any business or transaction through the above email address and/or telephone numbers is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Legalvision Law UK Ltd (SRA ID 837339), whose head office is located at Colony, Jactin House, 24 Hood Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 6WX. The genuine firm uses the email domain info@legalvision.co.uk, telephone number 0808 258 4780 and web address http://legalvision.co.uk/.
LegalVision Law UK Ltd have confirmed that they do not have any connection to the above communications nor do they employ anyone by the name of Adam Hall or Adam Bell.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
