A website is operating under the web address 'https://www.carfinanceclaimhub.co.uk/' claiming to be affiliated with a firm which is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

What is the scam?

A website is operating under the web address 'https://www.carfinanceclaimhub.co.uk/' claiming to be a 'trading style' of Courmacs Legal Limited.

The website misuses the firms genuine SRA ID number, office address and also the SRA Clickable Logo.

The SRA registers and regulates a genuine firm called Courmacs Legal Limited (See details below).

Any business or transactions through the website at 'https://www.carfinanceclaimhub.co.uk/' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Courmacs Legal Limited (SRA ID 819044) based at Alexander House, Beehive Trading Park, Haslingden Road, Blackburn, BB1 2EE.

Courmacs Legal Limited has confirmed that they do not have any connection to the correspondence referred to in the above alert.

What should I do?
